Christmas cash boost for St Luke’s Primary, Canning Town

14 December 2006

A local primary school has received a cash boost just in time for Christmas from Regenter LCEP (London City East Partnership), the consortium delivering Canning Town’s housing PFI project.

St Luke’s Primary School, located in Ruscoe Road, received £600 which will be used for the schools Christmas fund.

Steve Bonvini, Manager of the Canning Town PFI project, presented the cheque at an assembly last week. He said: “We are delighted to contribute to St Luke’s to the Christmas fund through this donation. It’s one of the ways we hope to make the difference in the local community. Only recently, we have completed the refurbishment of the Ruscoe Road sheltered accommodation scheme which has received overwhelmingly positive feedback from the residents and the local community.

In Canning Town, Regenter and its sister company Pinnacle, are part of the consortium called Regenter LCEP (London City East Partnership). Regenter is a company dedicated to investing in and delivering social housing, community regeneration and PFI projects. Pinnacle delivers the housing management function for the 1200 Canning Town homes under the PFI scheme, including environmental management, vegetation control and property refurbishment and repairs.
