Salford City Council shortlists two for its £200m housing PFI in Pendleton
The final shortlist for Salford City Council's £200 million HRA social housing PFI scheme can now be confirmed.
The north west England scheme - based in Pendleton, Salford - will see the refurbishment of 2,100 units of housing, half of which are high-rise living accommodation.
The two shortlisted teams are:
Inspiral Pendleton - Regenter, Great Places Housing Group, RoK Building, G&J Seddon, Countryside Properties and LPC Living
SP+ - Chevin Housing Association, Bullock Construction and Barratt Home
A third team - Solutions 4 Salford - led by Equitix is no longer part of the bidding process.
A preferred bidder on the 25-year DBFOM concession is expected to be named in Q2, with financial close slated for the autumn.
For the authority Ernst & Young is providing financial advice with technical advice coming from Turner & Townsend. Addleshaw Goddard is providing legal counsel.
